Go over your agent's head to their broker or office manager. That single call usually gets things moving again. Every agent hangs their license under a broker, and that broker does not want a complaint or a bad review on their watch, so they will usually lean on the agent to respond. If you want to reach the other side of the deal, look up who represented the seller (the transaction paperwork lists them) and call that agent yourself. Nothing stops you. The harder truth about post-closing problems: getting anything resolved after the sale is genuinely difficult unless you can show the issue existed before closing and that the seller or their agent knew about it and failed to disclose it. Without that, you usually do not have much ground to stand on, even though it feels like you should. So before you start making calls, gather whatever documentation you have: inspection reports, disclosures, photos, dates. The strength of your position depends on what you can prove was known and hidden, not just on the fact that something is now wrong.
